School Facilities Improvement Districts (SFID) are an option for School Districts in California

for specific projects within a School District.  The SFID can be a powerful tool in

developing a winning general obligation bond election in certain districts.

They allow a district to design specific “assessment” to address the special needs of the

specific communities within their boundaries.  Part of the SFID

process requires specialized Land Surveying & Mapping Services to create these new Districts.
